I guess I forgot that bidding is supposed to be through the separate field(button). When I read of the new auction for the vacumn valve I saw that others had bid on the announcement thread so I did too. But that doesn't qualify for the bidding. So if you thought you were bidding. I guess you weren't, just like me.
Brock, I take it what I am saying is correct, if not please clarify? I am disheartened that I was bidding in vain. I also will not make that mistake again. I will be watching for the next auction.

Brock and Lance keep up the great management of our thread.

Ron, you are correct in the first instance that you place your bid in the announcement thread just like you did for $70. I see thought that you have been out bid by PaulB who bid $75.

Everything stays on that one thread so you have to keep coming back to see if you've been outbid.

Look out PaulB, Ron may just want this puppy more than you
